Embrace The Beach Style Season With These Do’s and Don’ts

Do: Wear a swimsuit that fits.

Nothing is as unflattering as a swimsuit that doesn’t fit. Too big and it looks saggy and frumpy; too small, and you risk feeling like a stuffed sausage. Remember- just because it fit this time last year doesn’t mean it will still fit this time around (and that’s okay!).

Do: Try new styles

Experimenting with new styles is the only way to find what looks best on you. With so many options ranging from halter tops to tankinis to maillot to high-waisted, be sure to try as many as you can before investing in a new suit.

Do: Be bold in your swimsuits.

When it comes to swimwear, go bold or go home.

Don’t: Covet thy neighbor’s bikini bod.

That chick that looks like she’s on the cover of this years Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition shouldn’t make you feel jealous or intimidated.

Don’t: Settle when swimsuit shopping.

Settling for a suit that makes you feel “just alright” will make you look just alright. Save your money for a suit that makes you feel like a million bucks: when you feel your best, you look your best.

Do: Leave something to the imagination.
