Summer is here for some of our FP girls and coming up soon for others. We decided to kick off the official summer crafts DIY series with some ways to spruce up your bedroom! Wall art is so fun and a great project to do with your mom, your best gal friends, or even on your own when you have some alone time. Here is a list of some of our easy to do wall art favorites!

Pushpin Palooza

Great for a statement piece above your bed or by your desk, push pin wall art is all the rage! All you need is your choice of brass or silver pushpins, a cork or canvas board and some creative inspiration. A kind word or a unique design are some great options!

Getting 3D With Paper

Have you seen those 3D paper wall and ceiling decorations that look like they are right out of Anthropologie or Pottery Barn Teen? We have too and fell in love with them! Who needs to buy something when you can make a custom piece that is just for you? Check out the picture tutorial to see how to make it at home!

Strung With Love

FP Cassie’s absolute favorite summer craft is DIY string art! Mostly because the potential designs are endless! All you need are some very small nails, a hammer, a cork or wood board, and lots and lots of string! Your friends will be begging you to make them one for their rooms!

Scrapbook Recycling

Have you recently made a scrapbook for yourself or someone else? Use those leftover pages to transform a blank canvas into a masterpiece! Even if you don’t have scrapbook paper, don’t fret! Grab your favorite magazines or even a newspaper and find the comic section and cut out the ones you like. You’ll be left with a piece of art that will give you a smile every time!
