It’s (Royally) Official!
It’s official! The Prince William of Wales (and second in line to the British throne), married Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey! After months & months of planning, this $35 million dollar wedding was pulled off with zero problems! It was London’s biggest royal wedding in about 30 years & everyone around the world was super excited to see this young couple on such a momentous day!
Personally, I was a tad sick of hearing all of the gossip surrounding the wedding. BUT, after seeing all of the heartwarming videos & beautiful pictures of Will, Kate, and all of the attendees, I’m happy the world was allowed in on a normally private event (at least if you’re not royalty)!
The best part? The fashion! Kate’s ivory & white satin gown had delicate lace sleeves & was designed by Sarah Burton as a part of the Alexander McQueen collection! Although there’s been some controversy over Kate’s dress, myself & others at the FashionPlaytes office found it to be elegant, beautiful, and totally appropriate for her age & the occasion! My favorite pictures were those with people in absolutely fantastic hats! They were very Lady Gaga-esque & totally brought the fashion at this event to the next level!
