Are you excited for PROM?
It’s that time of year again - PROM is right around the corner! High schoolers have spent the last few months desperately trying to find the perfect dress or tux for prom, figuring out what friends they’re going to go with & whether a white limo is cooler than a black one…
It’s a night that everyone remembers (at least for those who actually went)! For me, prom was really fun, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that it definitely wasn’t worth all the chaos beforehand. I did end up finding a perfect off-white dress & decided to go with a really great guy friend instead of feeling all that anxiety waiting for a crush to ask me out. I wanted my night to be special, so I did the whole girly hair/nail part & couldn’t help but feel butterflies as I took pictures with my date inside the cool venue - an old train station in downtown Indianapolis!
In the end, I’m happy I went because it (thankfully) turned out to be an awesome night to remember! Almost 6 years later, I’m really excited for Disney’s Prom - a new movie coming out in theaters this Friday (4/29) that follows the few weeks of several high school students leading up to the big night. It’s going to a funny family flick & with a tag line like “There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one prom“, it’s guaranteed to make those folks who have already attended - nostalgic, and those who are still too young - hopeful for an awesome experience in the future!
