Honoring Talia Joy Castellano
You might be familiar with the honorary teen Covergirl Talia, who battled cancer and inspired millions — tweens, teens and adults — with her upbeat YouTube videos on makeup tutorials. If you’ve never watched one of her videos, watch one. Talia will bring a smile to your face with her cute personality and genuine charm. It’s so very sad that she’s gone. She suffered from two types of cancer and sadly lost her battle two weeks ago today, but you can be sure that her memory and her spirit is going to live on.
Talia, who was bald from her cancer, said that makeup was her wig, and she had more than 1 million YouTube followers. This past year, one of her dreams came true when she had the opportunity to meet Ellen. Check out the amazing exchange between the two below:
Talia created a bucket list five days before she passed away, and fans from all over are trying to accomplish the tasks in honor of Talia. Ones that we particularly like on Talia’s list include number 11: Jump in a pool of Jell-O, number 42: Free hugs all day, and number 49: Make a whole outfit from scratch!
