Fashion Friday: Rainbow Loom Obsession

It’s Fashion Friday!

I wanted to talk accessories for tweens today… in particular, an accessory trend that seems to be sweeping the nation right now!

On the pool deck of our swim club this year, a little contraption called the Rainbow Loom is being used by girls wherever I turn. Girls are obsessed with making these cute little rubber band bracelets for each other. I think it’s wonderful because it’s encouraging girls to be creative.

I remember when I was a tween, I would sit with my friends and make yarn friendship bracelets for hours. It was so much fun for us, and I see this same fashion-passion with the Rainbow Loom.

I love that this is the modern day twist to the “old” friendship bracelet.
