Going along with this week’s theme of Celebrity Crushes, here are some very cool stars that are oh-so-popular in the tween & teen world! Read on to learn a little more about YOUR favorite stars!
Selena Gomez!
Who is Selena? This beautiful girl is an American actress & singer (18), originally from Grand Prarie, Texas.
How’d she become famous? Selena first started her acting career as Gianna on Barney & Friends. Later, Selena had small roles in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over & Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire. Then in 2004, she was spotted by the Disney Channel & her career took off! Starring in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody & Hannah Montana, she was finally cast as the main role in the Disney Chanel Original Series, Wizards of Waverly Place! Her solo music career began in 2008, when she started recording several music videos through Disney.
Today: Now, Selena is busy with her new band Selena & The Scene - a pop band that features her as the lead. Their 2nd album A Year without Rain was released in 2010 & reached #4 on the Billboard 200. And eek! There are rumors going around that she’s dating Justin Bieber! Pretty cute couple, right?

The Jonas Brothers!
Who are the JoBros? An incredibly popular (and handsome) American pop boy band that consists of three brothers from New Jersey: Kevin (23), Joe (21), & Nick (18)!
The history: The band began as a solo project for Nick! While the boys first performed in Broadway shows, they also made time to write (originally Christian) songs together. Because they were so good, the guys were picked up & signed by Colombia Records in 2005! Although they had their first taste of success opening for varying bands, the group was later picked up by Hollywood Records in 2007. It was during this time that the Jo Bros totally blew up! In 2008, they starred in the ever-popular Camp Rock, a Disney Channel Original Movie. Later in 2009, the brothers finished shooting the 1st season of their Disney Channel Original Series, JONAS. Throughout all this time, they’ve consistently sold out stadiums around the world - especially on their Jonas Brothers World Tour in 2009 - and have reached #1 (several times) on the Billboard Hot 200! What a lifestyle!
What’s going on now? The brother’s are SUPER busy - often working on individual projects, however still making time to make their fans happy! Currently, Kevin is loving life with his new wife, Danielle Deleasa. Joe has spent a lot of time working on his solo album. Nick has also taken advantage of his solo career by going on tour with his new band “Nick Jonas and the Administration”.
