Celebrity Crushes: Big Time Rush and Victoria Justice
For our next installment of Celebrity Crushes, we’ve decided to feature two more awesome tween/teen stars who are totally cool right now! They’re both from Nickelodeon & thanks to their awesome singing/acting skills, have earned themselves HUGE fan followings! Read on.
The boys from Big Time Rush!
Who are they? Big Time Rush is a pop group created by Nickelodeon. The group is made of 4 real-life (and really cute) best friends: James Maslow, (20, as James Diamond), Carlos Pena Jr., (21, as Carlos Garcia), Kendall Schmidt, (20, as Kendall Knight), & Logan Henderson (21, as Logan Mitchell). They officially signed a record deal in 2009 & since then, they’ve had amazing success! Throughout 2010, Big Time Rush songs have hit consistently high on the Billboard Hot 100 & Billboard 200.
Now what? Thanks to the success from their musical career, the band inspired a TV series on Nickelodeon called Big Time Rush starring the boys themselves as the main characters! They play a group of hockey players form Minnesota, who receive an awesome opportunity to be the newest pop sensations - all while handling comical situations living in L.A. A show based on your real life? SO cool.
Does BTR have any celebrity crushes? According to an interview with BTR on Seventeen.com, James loves Emma Watson, while Logan likes Rachel McAdams (from The Notebook)! Their favorite *secret* chick flicks? The boys like Bring It On, The Titanic & How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days!

Victoria Justice!
Just a pretty girl? No way! Victoria (17) is an American actress & singer who first made it big when she was just 10 years old! She’s made appearances in several Nickelodeon series, such as True Jackson, VP, The Troop & iCarly. In 2005, Victoria was given a main role in Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101. After several very successful season with the show & because of her awesome singing abilities, Nick decided to give her an even bigger opportunity as the main character on musical show, Victorious (2010)! Even though she spends most of her time acting, Victoria supports charities like the United Nations Foundation and the campaign, Girl Up!
Music career: Justice doesn’t just act, she sings too! To start, she participated in a few songs on the Nickelodeon musical soundtrack, Spectacular! Not only that, but she’s recorded great hits for her series, Victorious. Her debut album is rumored to be dropped this summer, so stay tuned!
Johnny Depp? In an interview with Kidz World, Victoria mentioned that one of her favorite roles was playing Lola on Zoey 101 because she got to work with some of her closest friends! When asked who she’d like to work with next, Victoria mentioned great actors like Meryl Streep, Hilary Swank, Johnny Depp & Mark Ruffalo! (We’d love to see her work with them too!)
