Hi! This is my first time doing this! So excited! Any hoo, I’m going to tell you how to start your Awesome fashion career.
First! You always want to have a clean work space even your floors. Which some people ( including myself) will groan about but, you just want to do a little each day. Maybe before bed or on Saturday and Sunday.
Second! Learn to sew, whether it be hand sewing or machine.
Third! Ask if people like your designs. Listen to them, if you freak out when they tell you THEIR opinion, they will lie about liking it.
Fourth! Understand we all have different opinions. My BFF likes different things then I do. But we work better together then apart, Because of our differences.
Fifth! ( and final! ) Make what YOU will wear! Don’t try to make stuff you hate just to be popular in the clothing line.

Definitely! Sketching is really hard, but you can definitely get better by practicing.

idk if my mom will teach me how to sew
I can sew by hand and we are installing new white hard wood floors in my room so it will be easy to keep clean so I am excited about becoming my dream!!!! A fashion designer! Add me and see the clothes I make on here! My username is sparkleglam.
I don’t think i will EVER learn how to sew because if i ask my mother i know what she’ll say “If i have enough time i’ll show you how to do it” and either she forgets or suspects that i’ll forget so
I’ll never be a fashion designer.

If you want it that badly then try sewing on your own!

there are lots of self-instructing books out there. Ask your mom if you could teach yourself. Do you have a friend who can sew? ask her to show you the basics. If all else fails, don’t worry. Just keep sketching and finding ideas, and soon you’ll be well on your way to being a fashion designer!
