This article really inspired me alot.
I express myself in a lot of ways. Here are some of the ways:
1. I wear any kind of clothes as long as I like them. I’m not super afraid to show the other kids in my school who I am even though they can get mean. I don’t try to change my style, even though sometimes it needs touch-ups :). If someone criticizes my look - say, sweatpants - I try clever comebacks like, “Thanks! That’s what I was trying for!” I’m a naturally funny person, and if you’re funny and know how to go crazy, it’s most likely you won’t be bullied or criticized. I usually don’t let it get to me.
2. I don’t wear makeup in public. I think being natural is more beautiful and I can express myself that way. I have lots of makeup, but that’s only for when my friend (who’s username is fbangela) comes over. We give each other makeovers for fun.
3. I express myself in art. Fashion designs, mostly. I was thinking of starting my own clothing line because fbangela said I was a good designer. I have fashion designs all over my window
4. I write. Writing is my real talent. I don’t want to brag, but I’m, like, a twelfth grade writing level. I’m only in fourth grade! No offensive, though. It’s just my gift from birth, like most people have a talent like this.
5. I wear my hair how I like it. It’s super long, like, almost down to my butt, and it’s shiny and golden and even at this time of year!! I usually wear it down with no accessories, but sometimes I wear it in a regular braid or a fishtail braid.
6. I take charge of my life. I don’t let bullies bring me down, and I certainly don’t let other kids tell me what to do. I’m not mean to them back, but I make comebacks that aren’t offensive to anyone.
Tip: to be a better YOU, be healthy, and take charge of your feelings, and also stand up for yourself and your friends. Try to like yourself, even on the bad days. Try your best, and remember the good things and life. Remember, you are special, because you are YOU, the only you on Earth! Rock on!

Sure! My style is to have my hair as long as possible. Right now my hair is about waist length. But nobody criticizes on style. Well many of the girls think my hair is really long because many of the girls cut their hair. The popular girl has super short hair. There are many popular girls but they are just nice. They don’t have any certain style. AND my arch-nemesis would usually spread rumors about stuff like me studying all the time so I get good grades. But the truth is I never study for math test. I don’t really study much. But I always get good grades. But the only thing I study hard on is for science. But this year it’s my best subject so I barely study much at all. Anyway I’ll STILL get straight A’s because THIS IS POWER!!!! AND I have tons of after school activities. I’m like the busiest kids in the class. But for some reason I always manage to get good grades. But still. When I come back to school I’m going to wear
1. My shirt that I bought from the gift shop when I was zip lining with my dad in Jamaica that says I Survived the Zip Line! Because I did.

Most people in my new school all dress the same. Nobody really makes fun of each other’s outfits, which is kind of awkward because they’re kind of judgmental about people and can get super mean. I miss my old school so much. Especially my BFF. Nobody could EVER replace her. EVER. No offense, though.

Wear what you want! Don’t let other people make you insecure and unsure. If they make fun of you, so what? It’s not them who live your life, it’s not them who have your epic style. It’s YOU! Just tell them that it’s not their choice on what other people wear, but you would like it if they expressed their opinions in their own style! Btw: its not him/her who gets to set the rules for yourself. And about the good grades? Be proud of them! It’s great being smart! It’s wrong for people to think of you as a sterotype just because your smart! If people say that to you, say, ” Hey, since when is it bad to get good grades? You’re seriously trying to tear me down because I’m smart?!” Try to find some friends who will appreciate who you are. Maybe there’s another girl at your school who is going through somewhat the same thing as you? Just keep you’re head up high! Also, if you listen to Brave by Sarah Bareilles, it might give you a little bit of strength. I hope I’ve helped!

You have my sympathy. All the boys think I’m a dork/nerd too because I get straight A’s. But I’m not the new kid. I’ve attended elementary school since I was in 1st grade. Just stand up for yourself and hang out with your BFF more. I’ve always been a dork/nerd except for 2nd and 3rd grade and now in 4th grade we have 3 new boys who are always spreading those crazy rumors. I wish we had the new girls.
I guess I’ll follow you’re advice to mustachdotty potato. I like all of you’re advices. I can relate to mustachdotty. But people respect m sense of style. Usually I’m casual and cool. I don’t really care about this stuff at school because I’m so busy. The good thing is that nobody has said anything about my new glasses. Probably because they look cool. Brown frame and pink hearts. but I don’t really study much. I have tons of after school activities.

BeYOUtiful! You are a very beautiful person, inside and out, and you shouldn’t be afraid to be you! Wear stylish clothes, and maybe you could begin a trend! If somebody tries to make fun of you, stand up for yourself. You can’t let a bully bring you down. Here’s a list of clever comebacks you should try:
Tell it like it is: “I don’t like it when you make fun of my outfit.”
Simply disagree: “I don’t think so.”
Act surprised: “I can’t believe you just said that!”
Let her have her point of view: “That’s your opinion.”
Ask a question: “Was that really necessary? Really?”
Use the one-word technique: “Wow.”
And so on. When she insults you, also try to look bored or annoyed. It really works! Also, just remember you are you, so wear what you want, and don’t change your grades, because you’re awesome!
