Hi all you FP girls out there! I’m Julia, and this is my first post. I love FP girls because they let you be free with what you wear. When picking out your style, there are a few tips.

1.) Make sure that whatever you wear, you like! Close your eyes, and if you can imagine yourself proudly walking around in that outfit, wear it! (This goes for buying clothes too)

2.) When picking out your outfits for school, wear something that expresses who you really are! For example, if you absolutely love dogs, you can incorporate them into your outfit with a shirt, jewelry, charms, or even leggings!

3.) Don’t take any comment about your outfit personally. If a person happens to say something like, “What ARE you wearing?” look her in the eye and say, “What I like, not what you like.” or something like that. Stick up for your choices!

4.) Don’t wear what’s “in” if you don’t like it. Keep in mind that the current “fashion” is what someone else loved and decided. They are simply showing the fashion world their style, and hoping other people enjoy it too. There’s a difference between style and fashion: style is what you like and wear, and fashion is what you like and wear, but try to get others to wear it.

5.) For the final tip, have fun with your outfit choices! Wear what makes you feel like you can take on the world, and then you’ll be more likely TO take on the world.

Best style wishes,

Julia
