Fashion Friday: What is the Mixed Media Trend?

The mixed media trend is uber-popular right now. You really can’t walk into a store without seeing aspects of this trend. People are really having fun with it!
But… I keep getting this question from moms, “What is the mixed media trend?”
Believe, me - I get it.
So what is the mixed media trend?
Mixed media is literally putting together (in one outfit), many fabrics and textures (a puffer vest paired with a furry sweater and silk pants). It’s really popping together fashion items that you (most likely) wouldn’t have done before.
It’s fun. It’s youthful. It’s chic. It’s a fresh-breath-of-air. In my fashion opinion, it’s REALLY having some fun with fashion this fall.
