If you are on this website, then I know that you love fashion just as much as I do!
If you love fashion, then you will definitely want to draw. Here are some books that are on my bookshelf that inspire me to draw!
1. Doodle Your Day - I absolutely ♥ this book! Every day they have you doodle something; for example, the other day they told me that it was “Bald and Free Day” so I needed to draw myself without hair (and, um, let me just say that I don’t look good as a cartoon with out any hair! Blech!). And another day, they asked “What did you have for lunch?” I ♥ this book (didn’t I already say that?)!
2. My Wonderful World of Fashion: A Book for Drawing, Creating and Dreaming - I found this coloring book at the library (why did they have a coloring book at the library?? That should be illegal! Every time I opened it up, I grabbed the nearest marker and - Oops. Nope, can’t do that!) and fell in love with its great detail and just how fashion-y it was! So I asked for it for my birthday. I got My Even More Wonderful World of Fashion: Another Book for Drawing, Creating and Dreaming instead, but it is equally awesome!
3. Beautiful Doodles - This is so much fun! I doodled a noodle (haha, that rhymes!), drew clothes on a dog (nope that didn’t rhyme), and millions of butterflies (that didn’t rhyme either.)! I love how the people are drawn, too!
Well, I have lots more books and hope to share them with you another time!

P.S. Another thing that I have done (that you may not be able to do) is create my own mannequin outlines. I love Project Runway, but their mannequins are so contorted, and yes it is supposed to be that way but that just isn’t my style. Now, I have learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and create tons of fun graphics!!! So I used the Pen Tool to trace over a mannequin I found online and have created my very own mannequins (they are huge!).

I have one of those books. I have the one in the middle. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The book is full with soooooooo much facts and steps on how to become a fashion designer and plus the most exciting is the drawing . Like I said before I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really a design drawer. At all. I draw wolves and foxes mostly. We should have a design contest and the clothes could be on people OR animals!
Like youd draw the outfit on the human or animal, then you’d draw it again beside it showing the whole outfit.
we should do that for the November contest!

I printed a lot of FPGIRL Crouquis and I technically AM on my 2nd book even though I’m on my first (and had to print a LOT more for my book) I love designing. But I haven’t been lately But I’m going back I’ve been busy trying to turn my dream designs into actual clothes without sewing.
Fpgirl should have a how to sew classes and videos for us girls who want to learn to sew but can’t.
Cute but that’s a secret passion that I don’t share with parents or friends. Because they will be angry to see that I want one and signed me up for NATURE CAMP instead. I LOOOVE nature camp and all but therer aren’t too many girls there!
