Loading ...We love sharing stories of girls doing AWESOME things, and Winter Vinecki’s story fits the bill! Winter took part in her first triathlon when she was only five. From there, she fell in love with running and racing.
One of her biggest fans was her dad. Sadly, though, she lost him to prostate cancer when she was only nine years old. But Winter didn’t let that sadness stop her. She started a non-profit organization called TeamWinter that has raised over $400,000 for prostate cancer research.
Plus! Winter’s goal right now is to set a world record this year by being the youngest person to run a marathon on all seven continents (she’s only 14). And, of course, she’s doing it all in her dad’s memory. Cool, huh?

That was soo touching! I amazing that she runs that long if distances but when she did it for her dad tears literally came rushing down my eyes! she is the most inspirational person I have come across! she is strong, in both emotional and physical!

Make up your goal! You go for it, and don’t stop! I can run, and this is the farthest I have ever run ( unless the 5K counts), farther then 2 MILES!!!!! But you go girl! reach your goals, and don’t stop!
I am a cross country runner I jog and power walk with my mom in the morning. I lost my grandpa from cancer and they said he had it for at least six years. My mom is still sad about it.

Just 2 weeks ago I lost my step-dad to cancer, and I am thinking of doing something too.
I am thinking of making a club called growing hearts club or love with all you got IDK? but in the club we will reach out to the ones in need and also to help people put others first; and to love with all you got, and to help people have a strong relationship with God.
My step-dad was a great man he put others first, had a strong relation ship with God, and he had a huge heart. I loved him and I want his kindness to go on.
(I don’t know how I am going to do this or of I can I will talk to my mom when I go to her house)
