What you’ll need:

  • 3-4 Different Neon Nail Polishes
  • 1 Black Nail Artist Paint
  • 1 Clear Top Coat

How to do it:

Step 1: Paint 3-4 horizontal stripes across all of your nails with your neon colors. Try using the colors in a different order on each nail. TIP! Create different width stripes for a funky look. Allow for this paint to dry.

Step 2: Between each color use your thin black brush to paint horizontal lines. TIP! Making thin lines on your own nails can be tough. Don’t be afraid to ask a parent for help OR try this with a friend and help each other!

Step 3: With your thin black brush create patterns on 2 or 3 different sections. Think about patterns like vertical or diagonal stripes, triangles or dots. TIP! Try switching it up on each nail. The different patterns look super cool together! Allow for the black paint to dry.

Step 4: Add a clear top coat to add shine and protect your cool nail art.

Hey! Don’t worry if some of the nail polish gets on your skin. Try using a q-tip covered in nail polish remover to closely take off the extra paint. Or try rubbing off the extra paint under hot water. Just make sure your nails are dry first!
