My mom always gets my fashion and totally understands when I wear boy clothes. (I’m a tomboy.) And when I have to get dressed up fancy for things, she lets me wear a skirt and a t-shirt! But my grandma always argues with me that I should dress “properly and lady-like.” It’s so annoying! But my mom is really nice about it!

most of the time my mother agrees with my style, (75% of the time) but sometimes she is sooo bossy about what I wear. Yesterday, I put my FAVE outfit on and she’s like, “What are you wearing?! Get that off and go put something NICE on!” I HATE it!!!!!
Sometimes I have to pack clothes and bring them to school so i can wear what i want!

My mom makes me ” match my clothes”. I wore two different shades of blue that looked really good but she got all mad at me. Also, my school has uniform and she makes me wear polos to church so I only get one day of wearing my style on Saturday when no one sees me! It is so irritating!

but like living4 said you really shouldn’t be that upset. k my mom used to always say, oh this doesn’t match and its a weird color and all that junk, and instead of getting mad I said in a joking tone, “mom, you know me, do I ever match? its just a part of being my crazy tomboyish self!” just be funny about it, maybe offer to spuce up some of her boring clothes!!
