Ok, girls, so you’ve heard it before. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” It’s true! Breakfast gives your body the first fuel of the day. Even when you’re busy with school, sports, friends, and family, make sure to eat a good breakfast. Need something quick? Here are some tips:

- Fruit like apples, oranges, and bananas are great to take with you.

- Not a morning girl? Plan your breakfast the night before!

- Wrap it up! If you don’t have time to sit and eat your eggs in the morning, put them in a whole wheat wrap so you can take them with you!

To stay alert and energized all day long, fuel your body with quality carbohydrates like fruit,vegetables, pasta, bread, rice or cereal. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water! And no, soda and energy drinks are not good substitutes for water! They are full of sugar which is no way to start the day.
