Ever wanted to curl your hair, but not damage it at all, but still get the same results. Well, I am going to show you how!! So, the picture above was from Google and it shows the steps and results. So, please use that as a guide, I wasnt able to make a video quick enough- I will work on it though!! If you are having trouble following the text instructions please search : CuteGirlsHairstyles or HeadBand Curls on YouTube and you can see videos on it so you unerstand it better.

Instructions:

Shower or Get your Hair wet first!!

1) Add Mousse to damp hair

2) Add Antifrizz Serum as well. (both optional)

3) Wait until hair is dry

4) Take a simple headband and place on your head like in the pic above.

5) Take about an inch of hair from behind ONE ear, and wrap around the band.

6) Add another inch of hair to the already wrapped, and wrap the two togehter, (as in combining them, kind of like a french braid)

7) Once you get to the part or middle, STOP!!

8) Begin on the other side, repeating all steps.

9) Once you reach the middle with that side as well- STOP!!

10, take both ends leftovers and wrap them around the band together as many times until you cannot anymore. Then, just tuck them in

11) relax for a few hours and then take out (or sleep on them)

12) Spray with hair spray and VOILA!!

Btw, the pic is not me- its some random person who posted it on Google.

Enjoy
Tips:

1) Pin it! (no not pinterest pinning…although we all love pinterest, now don’t we?) I use a lot of bobby pins in mine. I have a lot of layers in my hair so I pin as I go just to keep them from coming loose. Definitely helps get consistent results.

2) Hold the hair goo…I have found that putting the curling mousse in my hair after my hair is almost completely dry works the best. For some reason if I put it in my hair wet and then dry my hair I do not get good results.

3) Wider is Better…Using a super skinny store-bought headband didn’t work that well for me. Using a wider headband (like the elastic one I made) really works much better!

4) Chill Out! Give you hair time to relax after you’ve taken the headband out. Especially if you wore it over night! If I’m just wearing it around the house for a few hours in the morning, it’s usually just fine to take it out, fix it a little and go. BUT, if I’ve worn the headband over night, I need at least an hour to let them relax.

Hope this helps and that you have success with these fabulously easy headband curls! =)
