Raise your hand if you love dying your garments!! We do, we do!!
OK, so let’s talk different techniques.
Tie-dye is all about cool swirls and zigzags since that’s the typical pattern you get after dying the garment—a garment you fold and tie up, usually with rubber bands or string. Usually with tie-dye, it’s all about bright colors: think orange, yellow, reds, pinks!! The brighter the better.
Dip-dye is a super special technique that’s used to make a cool faded pattern on clothing. Dip-dye involves dipping a garment—like a t-shirt—in a way that makes the fabric go from one color to another…or from dark to light! Whether you love purple, blue, green or yellow, dip-dye often combines two or more of your favorite colors to create a cool effect that is sure to be a hit with all of your friends!
How to wear ‘em: Pair a tie-dyed or dip-dyed tee or tank with a rockin’ pair of jeans and great boots! Add a pretty flowered headband and let your creative personality shine!!
