Monochromatic WHAT?? No, it’s not something you should be learning about in science class. It has to do with fashion, and it’s an important lesson, so listen up!
My Clothing Helper has a GREAT one-line explanation: “A monochromatic color scheme features a lighter and darker version of the same color.”
See, we said it was pretty simple, right?
That said, it’s not always the easiest thing to pull off an entire outfit in the same color, but it’s AWESOME when done right.
Monochromatic looks are in right now, especially for these colors:

White on white – think either winter whites OR crisp spring/summer whites

Pink on pink – pink is one of THE most popular colors for spring 2014

You can add artsydragon as a friend in your Collection Room! Look for the little purple icon in the top right hand corner that looks like two people. Click on it and follow the directions.
You can’t friend people from the App yet, but you’ll be able to soon!

Monochromatic coloring is definitely my go-to. I often wear my mint skinny jeans with a navy shirt, and then I’ll accessorize monochromatically.

Hey jsl! Sounds like the first thing to do is talk with your mom! Just tell her how you feel about your hair and your look. If you talk about it nicely I’m sure you can come up with a compromise!

I only like #3 because it actually looks fine. Although I think white on white is ugly… Blue, Red and Purple look great with this color scheme but only if you choose the right articles of clothing.

yes I do wear monochromatic whenever I wear something example i’m wearing the color red and it’s in the hot color so I would wear something that will match that color

I have this awesome blue long sleeved shirt that a wear with a pair of really comfy light bluish/greenish colored jeans. I wear them with my black Bearpaw boots, or my navy blue fake toms.

hey fpdanielle i need help i want to change my look but i am not gonna cut my hair or dye it i dont know how to wear my hair,and i need some tips on how to start a fashion club, i have 6 notebooks full of designs of clothes but i just dont know how to run a club , i have saved plenty of money for it i just dont know what people look for in a fashion club.
One of the easiest ways to change your look with your hair is to try a new hairstyle! Do you usually wear your hair down? Try a top knot! Do you usually wear your hair in a ponytail? Try a braided one, or a low one, or add a bow!
A fashion club sounds like an awesome idea! Maybe you could talk to your school about it, and see if you can meet with other people in your school who love fashion too as an after school activity! You could hang up flyers and sign up sheets for it to let everyone know about it.
