Your Girls Are One In A Million! (and perfectly unique)
Earlier this year, I was invited to visit my youngest daughter’s class on her birthday and experienced sheer joy (along with a few tears!) as I was humbled by the grace of 7-year-olds. In order to build a birthday star for Maeve, her teacher asked each student to share something special about the birthday girl. The class erupted with waving hands and shouts of “She loves cats,” “She’s stylish,” “She has lots of friends” and one sweet comment from a particularly shy boy, “She is just perfect.”
How could she not feel incredibly loved and unique after hearing all of this?! She took it in stride, beaming with pride. The combination of the prongs on her “star” truly make Maeve a “One-in-a-Million” girl.
Here at FPgirl, we’ve had our own “One-in-a-Million” moment and are thrilled to announce that our community is now One Million Members strong! This is a major milestone, and it’s all thanks entirely to our girls. They are amazing!! Your girls keep us on our toes and are at the heart of what’s new and hot. Thank YOU for letting them share their voices!
To celebrate this exciting achievement, we asked the FPgirl community to tell us what makes them “One in A Million,” and as you can see the response was overwhelming.
Here are a just a few of our favorite comments:
Kristen said: “I think this website is the best thing on the Internet and when I become president of USA I will make a law that FashionPlaytes is awesome, period”
(We love Kristen’s confidence!)
Daisy said: Yay! FPgirl.com is a fab website and should have 1 million girls. I think it is a way to let girls express themselves! I <3 it!!
(I think we might have a job for Daisy in marketing at FPgirl when she graduates!)
Sara said: congrats FP; hope u reach 1 billion members one day

We do, too, Sara!
So, here’s to the girls and parents who make our community so unique. May there be many years of star-worthy accomplishments ahead as our one-in-a-million girls grow into the women they deserve to be! To borrow a page out of my daughter’s first grade classroom, our time with all of you is “just perfect”.

Sarah.. I still remember talking to you about your “dream” of developing an on line place where girls can design clothes and actually buy their creations during our reign as fearless Daisy Scout leaders for Alicia and Maddy’s first grade troop… Your dedication and hard work to creating your dream has totally paid off and I admire and congratulate your accomplishment. Fashion Playtes is wonderful - You should be proud. Fondly - Cori.
I luv fp girls and so when I become a fashion designer I will make a clothing line just for FPGIRLS!!!!!
