Recipe of the Day: Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes!

Ah, summertime. It’s the perfect excuse to make totally delicious & charming dessert treats for you & the family! This time, use your baking skills & cook up a batch of ice cream cone cupcakes! Choose favorite flavors & get ready for a creative version of your basic cupcake! We hope you enjoy!
What you’ll need: 1 package cake mix (any flavor), 24 cake cup ice cream cones, a cupcake pan, water, oil & eggs, frosting, sprinkles
How to make it:
- Preheat your oven to 350F!
- Make the cake mix based on the directions on box! Fun Tip: If using a white cake mix, you can divide the mix into four separate bowls & use food coloring to make various ice cream “flavors”! Cute, right?
- Next, place the cake cones in muffin pan (one per slot) & fill each about 1/2 to 3/4 full.
- Place the cupcake pan into the oven & bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until done! Use the toothpick/fork test: If it comes out clean, it’s ready. If there’s batter left on the toothpick or fork, it still needs more time!
- Finally, let the pan cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Let cool completely before frosting the top & adding sprinkles.
- Take a picture of your great work, then dig in!
