Fashion Week for Kids: NYC!
Last week was the amazing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City! However, high-end designers like Carolina Herrera & Tommy Hilfiger weren’t the only fashion folks in town…
FashionPlaytes had our own “Fashion Week for Kids”!

On 2/15, members of the FashionPlaytes team loaded up their suitcases & headed to the Big Apple for a day of fashion & fun! For our special event, we rented out an area of Bowlmor (a chic & totally fun bowling alley/event space) by Times Square! We invited very important guests - the press to some of our loyal fans - to come with their daughters or friends & enjoy an afternoon with us!

In order for our guests to become better acquainted with our wonderful company, we had several fun activities planned! We set up tables with laptops so that moms & daughters could sit down & actually design garments on www.fashionplaytes.com with the help of our staff!
From pink feather boas to over-sized sunglasses & colorful necklaces, girls could dress up at our accessory table, get their makeup done by a professional makeup artist, and then walk the “red carpet”! At the end of our “runway”, girls got professional pictures taken to document their FP experience! After only a few moments, the little fashionistas received their freshly developed framed picture to our FashionPlaytes craft station to decorate with fun sparkly stickers!
After everyone experienced our fun event, girls could take tickets (that they were given when they first arrived) to use at various carnival games scattered throughout the room, including skeeball & basketball! With fun food like mini burger sliders & grilled cheeses to keep those everyone happy, our guests definitely had the times of their lives!
