HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

I hope you’re all as excited as I am for this AWESOME holiday!!! After a really long drive last night from Boston to New Jersey to see some of my extended family, I made it safely & totally can’t wait for a delicious meal coming later in the day! It’s a family tradition to wake up early & start cooking while watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade or some football! As my mom has done for years, each member of the family is responsible for one dish! I usually take the sweet potatoes because I love loading on a TON of marshmallows on top! No matter how you do your special day, make sure to thank those responsible for the great turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes… and PUMPKIN PIE!
Speaking of thankfulness, another tradition that my family has is going around the dinner table & saying what everyone is thankful for. I think it’s a wonderful idea because counting your blessings only makes you realize how great you really have it.
