Step 1: Gather your nail polish.
You’ll need:
A hot pink watermelon color in a shade of red, or just a plain red color
White nail polish
Green nail polish
Black nail polish
Scotch tape
A dotting tool or bobby pin
Step 2: Create the core of your watermelon:
Use the scotch tape to cover about a quarter of your nail, depending on the length of your nail, it should reach a little below the tip of your nail. Paint your nail red. The reason the tape is there is so that when you remove the tape, it will create a straight line and you don’t have to worry about painting the rest of your nail on accident.
Step 3: Wait to dry.
Step 4: Use the tape to cover the tip of your nail. There should be a little space between tip and the red nail polish. Lining it up with the tape and the red polish, paint that section white.
Step 5: Dry.
Step 6: Paint the rest of your nail green.
Step 7: Dry.
Step 8: Use the dotting tool or bobby pin to create black dots on the red part of your nail.
Step 9: Let dry and apply a top coat.
