OK, so we hate to cover up our fabulous manis, but a girl’s got to make sure she keeps warm during the cold winter months, right? So what do you reach for: mittens or gloves? Let’s look at the pros and cons of each.
Mittens – Pros
Um, can we simply say super cute?!?!
Mittens keep your hands warmer (science lesson: the heat from your fingers touching one another helps with the warmth factor).
Mittens – Cons
OK, so your fingers don’t have complete control like they do in gloves, which can make it hard to grasp things (like keys, the strap of your purse, your lip gloss).
They might not always be the most appropriate thing for dressier outfits.
Gloves – Pros
Classic and always in style and you can dress ‘em up or down.
Makes holding/grasping things easier.
Gloves – Cons
Not as warm as mittens.
No matter how cool they look, they just don’t have the same “OMG, SO CUTE!!” factor that mittens have, right?
Best of both worlds – the mitten and glove combo: glittens!!! LOL!!

So mittens are great but they give you a horrible grasp. And gloves give you a really good grasp but they are clod when I punt my hands in them. But the gluttons are my best best choice!
I don’t really like either of them, and “glittens” are just gloves w/o finger tips and w/ a mitten top. I own a pair of them, and my fingertips freeze in the winter! Although, they were cheap, and from Justice, soooo…. Then later, the mitten top came off! I personally like gloves though, b/c you can easily get more styles than mittens. Mittens may be warmer, but gloves are obviously cuter. You can’t grab anything in mittens! What I like to do is to put on warm, wool gloves, then put on these special mittens that when you blow air through a thermal hole, it converts your breath into hot air that is spread about your hands. Then my wool gloves absorb the heat from my mittens and keeps all my fingers warm for quite awhile. In conclusion, I prefer gloves, but mittens are cool w/ me, too.

i perfer gloves because they have more varity you can find them every whaere with a bunch of styles. if i have mittens they have to be the kind where you can pull the top on and off.
Both are great and your right about the gloves not being as warm but I like gloves better
i have to go with both cuz they both provide what ur hands want and i think you should always have bith kinds around in the winter season,

My nails always snag on both. If I had to pick I guess mittes.
I think gloves because they have better movement.but mittens are also cute and gloves arent.

Both are fabulous, but they can both be annoying. The mittens don’t give me a good enough grasp, and the gloves don’t keep my hands warm when throwing snowballs. So, glittens are the best
