Just do it little by little. Like, if you want to start a trend of adorable bobby pins, just start by wearing a colored bobby pin, nothing too extreme. Get people used to that and then change the colored pin for something a little more noticeable, like a pin with a small flower jewel on the end. Maybe then try a small bow, and a large bow, and keep going until people catch on!
I did this with pastels, because I wanted to bring pastels back at my school. I started by wearing just a pastel headband, and then maybe a scarf, and then a shirt with pastel detailing, and then a solid pastel shirt, and then pastel jeans, and so on.
I started the ripped jeans or my big sister did because she’s so reckless and ripps her pants so he always wore ripped pants and eventually it caught on ( but its still weird to sell pre ripped jeans Im glad fpgirl never did that..)

you chose what you want to wear and if other people follow up on your trend then congrats
to start a trend:
1. pick out your trend
2. design
3. wear your design for a few days and tell your friends
4. if you have a picture of your trend send it to other friend
5. soon people will like it and wear it
it might takes some time but I know you can do it!
Who cares what everybody thinks if you like it then that is all that matters. If your confident then go ahead that is what I would do. If someone makes fun of you say something like whatever or that wasn’t nice don’t get too angry and walk off with pride.
You have to take it slow at first. Don’t push people to see your new trend. As you keep doing it, they might notice you wearing/doing the trend and fallow you! Good luck!

Well, I think you should be proud that you think you start a new fad! If people make fun of you, don’t care! Be confident a take pride. Soon enough, people might realize how awesome you are and start doing your new trend. Did you know (yes, this is true) that a long time ago in greek, it was said if a man wore umbrellas it mean they were weak, but one day a man wore it every day even though many people laughed he still wore it every day, then every man wore one in the rain! Crazy huh? Like I said don’t care what people think, it will just make things work! If you choose to start a new trend, good luck!!!!!!!
Wear your trend confidently and don’t care what others think or say. As long as you adore what you’re wearing you and are ready to be daring, you have nothing to worry about.

One trend I really wanted to start was Disney Bounding at school. It’s where you create ensembles that resemble disney characters, places and things without directly showing it. It’s SO cool and so much fun! My friends and I all do it, and others started to join in!

well i think u should go for it and take a limb if it doese’nt work u do it again until u find the right thing. Heres the look i maniged to do is (sweater shirt,scarf,jaegings,and high top boots the next day everybody was wearing what i was and thats because i didnt quit now peaple ask if i can help them with there fashion)

I’m always experimenting with new clothes and I always get compliments on them, I mean, who says you can’t mix different patterns,in my school, I am the artsy, sporty, semi-popular, play it all cool, girl. My friend and I love playing spotrs outside with the boys, too try designing an outfit for all of the above that looks super cute!

It depends on who you are. If you are really popular, like me, then you won’t look silly, you can just wear something and people will follow it. But if you aren’t really popular, then if you think something will look silly, as long as you don’t think it’s silly, it probably isn’t! And if people make fun of it, just say, “Hey, I like it, so I’m just going to tune you out.”

im a tomboy and i want to start a trend that’s dressing in boy clothe’s, or making girl clothes look like boy clothes, but I’ve been wearing boy clothes for about 2 YEARS now, so I guess that’ll never happen!
make sure it is something wearable and not too runway outrageous! Although it may look good on the catwalk it will just look silly on an everyday basis.

OK, now for the real advice. I personally don’t really care what other people think, but if I did, I would probably wear the trend you want to start with something that’s really trendy now, like if I was trying to bring back bell bottom jeans, I could wear those with an ombre top.Hope it helped!
