I really want to learn how to crimp my hair, because crimped hair looks sooo cute!
FP Answer:
One way to get cute crimped hair is with a crimping iron. Use this tool in the morning after showering and drying your hair. Although this technique is effective, it DOES take a long time and can be damaging to your hair.
To get cute crimped hair without any heat, take your shower at night. After towel drying your hair, separate your hair into sections to braid. The more braids you put in, the smaller your waves will be. Secure your braids with elastics and allow them to dry overnight while you sleep. In the morning, remove your braids and VOILA! super cute crimped hair!
Remember! To make this hairstyle last longer spray your waves with hairspray before leaving the house.

You can also do 2 french braids if you are able!
Yeah I always crimp my hair by doing tiny braids for school or just to hang out with friends! It doesn’t take long if you know how to braid
Tried it before, worked pretty well considering I have natural curly hair and was toats adorable!!
I’ve allways wanted to do this!!!!!!!
omg i am gonna do this tomorrow so that my hair looks rockin for my party!!
carrie underwood looks good and her dress is so pretty
I love Carrie Underwood my moms meeting her saturday at a meet and greet
Her hair looks good that way
braid your hair into four sections then if you have a flat iron go over the braids with it then unravel the braids and you should have crimped hair but make smaller braids or braid them a little tighter if you want more of a zigzag pattern
When ur hair is wet braid it and tie it off and when it dries take it out DONT BRUSH
it is impossable i’v tried it didnot work.
Here’s how to crimp hair WITHOUT a crimping iron!
1. For best results, wash your hair and do this before you go to bed.
2. When done washing hair, start braiding your hair. Here’s a tip:
For big wavy crimps, do your hair in a few braids. For a lots of crimps like above do a lot of teeny tiny braids.
3. When done braiding, got to sleep! (goodnight!!)
4. In the morning, undo the braids for a head full of beautiful crimps!
5. Prepare yourself for a lot of compliments!
i am going to do that tommorw night tonight i am going to do headband curls.
a really easy way to crimp your hair is to put it in braids and sleep with it in and wake up and it will look like you crimped it!
luv it
Wicked cool.
AWESOME! I’ve always wanted to crimp my hair, and now i can!
I have to try it. My hair curls but if I step outside it falls flat even with hair spray. I don’t know what to do. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i tried it and if i try 2 sleep with it in, i always end up with a mess of hair on the top of my head then, when try 2 brush it it either ruins the curls or looks like i back combed on the top of my head! HELP ME!
What u should try is to do the braids then bobby pin them up or use clips that used to happen to me but then i did that and it helped so try that! ;3
CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really glad I asked this question, and I tried it last night!!!! Here’s a few tips from my experience that might help you guys if you try it. #1: If you have thin hair like mine, braid it in just three sections for perfection. #2: If you don’t have time to take a shower (I didn’t have time last night), then all you have to do is spray your braids with water to soak them. #3: It will still work for you if you have slightly wavy hair like mine. #4: To keep the waves in more, as soon as you unbraid your hair just pick it with a pick. DON’T brush it or comb it through! Then add hair-spray.
that is soooooooo cool and i try to crimp my hair but it never works and i have straight hair. But it is so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! ……ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
another way which they already said is small braids with or without your hair being wet works

Pig-tails, headbands….
Hi NUMB3RZ! A great way to create waves for short hair is by sectioning your hair off into 1″ sections. Then, twist each section until it makes a tiny bun (it looks silly, but it works). Next, secure each mini-bun with a small elastic. For long lasting waves, leave you buns in over night. Finally, when you wake up the next morning remove the buns, and Voila! Perfect waves!
Also! One of my favorite looks for short hair is adding a statement headband! Like one with a large bow or flower! This look is perfect for any occasion!
