I’ve been in that EXACT situation and I’ll tell u what I did:
I put on a really cute, dressy blouse with sparkles on the collar, and then I topped it off with navy blue, sparkly Sperry flats. For my bottoms I just wore jet black jeggings. (Also, always add some jewelry that helps a lot..)

i so can understand what u feel like. so many times i’ve picked out a whole ensemble for church and my mom walks in the door, sees what i’m wearing and says 2 find something diff. 2 wear. she thinks i can get REALLY over the top in the code of getting dressed up!

Do you have any beaded things? Try that and wear a tar heel tee shirt with a pink skirt! You can see that girl is totally in to herself so she is going to be dressed like a prancy fancy so you don’t really have to go at all. But that is your choice, not mine. (Just say’n.)
What I would do is I would wear a medium length dress, but don’t overdo it by wearing heels. Wear ballet flats instead, or some other cute type of shoe!
easy! just wear a casual dress like a spring or winter dress with just a normal princess hair style and don’t bother putting on make-up or heals then just wear some really pretty flats

First, think of your friend or family member. What’s that person like? Do an outfit like one below and make it like your friend/family member so they love it!

1. Hairstyle: French/fishtail braid (whichever one is more like your friend or family member!!!! :D!) You could also add a cute hairclip or bow or headband.
2. Dress: Maybe like a hi-lo dress with not too much class but not too little class that’s like your friend or family member. (This dress doesn’t have to be designer or brand-name. Make sure it’s cute and applied to the dress code and this advice! :)!)
3. Shirt: You don’t have to wear the shirt and the dress and pants together. I’m just giving you these reasons so you can choose, Ruby. There is this really cute shirt from Justice. It’s white, but you probably need a white cami (camisole) under it. It’s short sleeved with little silver dots on the sleeves and it has a necklace in the front. I have it and it’s trendy and my friends love it! :D! :)! !!!
4. Pants: Maybe some skinny or super skinny jeans with a sparkly silver belt. :D!
5. Leggings: You can wear any color that matches with your hi-lo dress leggings or just plain white tights.
6. Jewelry: Give your friend a necklace that says BFF. Make sure you have the other half, and wear it! :P! That’s a fun, clever, and silly (and fashionable) idea! You can also add bedazzled bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces as long as you don’t overdo it!
7. Shoes: If you’re wearing the tights, some black, white, or gray flats would be okay. If your wearing the leggings or the shirt and the pants, you can wear boots or just the flats with NO SOCKS. Believe me, socks with flats are UGLY!!!!
8. Makeup: You don’t need makeup. But you should add some blush and lip gloss (eye shadow is NOT necessary, unless your friend/family member likes it!). Add some perfume or body spray and you smell fab!
-Make sure you brush your teeth and wash your face! In a style flurry, sometimes girls will forget!

Yeah, sometimes I tend to worry too much about what other people think of what I wear, but really if you’re just being yourself, it doesn’t matter what other people think of you. I would just mix some casual pieces with some fancier ones!

I would wear a short dress but not go way out with the glam. Wear leggings under if your cold. And I would only wear earrings and a few bracelets or a necklace.

I would wear a simple knee-length dress with maybe a nice print on it. I have a dress like that, it is light blue and has pastel-yellow sunflowers on it. You could pair that with flats, leggings, and a slouch jacket (which is a jacket that is meant to be short).

Wearing a cute plaid button up shirt with leggings and high boots is soo in! You can also put your hair in a side braid.
Wear something casual but just with no denim. Some fancy restaurants I go to have formal dining. They allow you to wear anything but denim stuff. Best look? A cotton dress. Below knee length to keep it appropriate. Not below ankle length.
I would do a knee length dress with a denim jacket and a peice of jewlery.

I think a CAUSAL SKIRT with a TOP, any kind, and A PAIR OF BOOTS. A for JEWELRY, I think NOT. A BLUE-JEAN JACKET would make the outfit more causal.
Try wearing a nice (maybe sparkly) shirt with a pair of jeans. Do you hair pretty and some flatts. That’s my opinion, hope it helped!

Me too! I wore a blue ruffly knee length cotton sundress dress to a piano competition. Comfy but not too casual. They did not deduct points. Dressing too casual in the piano competitions I go to is against the rules and can deducted points.
Wear a dressy dress, then put on a casual jean jacket, ballet flats, lots of bracelets and, if you want some extra glitz, add a belt.

Well, you could pair a lace top with a ruffle or normal skirt, ( with leggings) and maybe some boots and a necklace! For a hairstyle that is not to dressy, but still dressy, you could do a side ponytail and curl the pony! I hope I helped!
