It really depends on the outfit: if you are wearing them and it looks too clashy, it is a bad combo. But it can also look really cute if u do it right.

i luv polka dots & stripes but it depends on what color they r. i suggest NEVER to wear stripes or polka dots that r more than 2 colors, or else you’ll end up looking like a clown

Stripes NEVER go together! If you a teen you can probably make it work. But never try it your.When your self. You may think it looks good. But your friends may think a different story.
It depends on you. I personally don’t like dots with stripes but I have some friends who pull it off really well, even when they add floral to the mix! But if you want to wear it,no matter what anyone else says, wear it with your head held high, and it might become a trend!

hello FPGirl designers! my name is Kacclynn and i am a long time member of FPGirl.com. i can see your troubles Claire, my opinion is a yes- and no. you see the second photo from the left? she is wearing a tucked in shirt with a skirt and dotted tights, i would say yes to the tights, no to the stripy skirt, and shirt, change the shirt to a white t shirt, tucked it in, get a camo pink& green ruffle skirt, have it hip length( that’s where the shirt is tucked) and add ankle boots. Oh and the hair is curly
so it could be a yes just don’t put too much, a dotty satchel mini bag or a polka dot skirt with a white shirt with a striped bow pin on it would be fine. don’t go overboard! hope this helped( with a little style tip

i think it KIND of works .the girls in the pictures up here knew what they were doing and how to do it. it only looks good if you know what you are doing but if you do like a pink top with polka dots and orange striped shorts OOPS you’ve hit a no no zone!

I think they would go together if the polka dots and the stripes are small (like the first picture).
I’d rather not maybe if you go for horizontal stripes it looks way better trust me and polka dots and stripes don’t really mix its just to much designs and it makes it look just fatal so i’d rather have you use horizontal stripes trust me.! ^_^

Yes! I have astriped shirt that is navy blue and a light white see-through silver. Under it I wear a blue polka dotted tank thats it totally ADORIBLE!!!!!!! Everyone loves it!
