What you’ll need:
- - A few large & small washers
- - 1 -2 sheets of scrapbook paper
- - string or ribbon
- - 1-2 wooden beads
- - scissors, E6000 glue, nail file, pencil
- - diamond glaze (or something like it)
How to do it:
- 1. First, use your pencil to trace the inside and the outside of the washer on your scrap paper.
- 2. Carefully cut out your traced washer. Hint: Cut the outer circle first. To easily remove the inner circle fold the paper in half and then cut! Ask an adult for help if you need it!
- 3. Next, glue your cut out decorative paper to the rough side of the washer! Be sure that the paper is pretty side up when you allow the glue to dry.
- 4. Now, cover the entire design with diamond glaze (follow the bottle’s instructions) and allow to dry overnight.
- Once your washer is completely dry, tie your washer to the string or ribbon!
- Finally, try layering different sized washers together for a totally unique look!
