Martin Luther King, Jr. “I Have a Dream” Speech

Today is Martin Luther King Day.

To many young kids, it’s a day of off school, but as parents… it’s our responsibility to share with our children why they have the day off from school.

I had my 4 sons sit down this morning to watch the video I posted above of his “I Have a Dream” speech. They were mesmerized, especially my older 2 sons (they are 8 and 9 years old). It is one of the most powerful speeches of all time. It is history. I get goosebumps every time I hear it and watch it. It’s so powerful. Take a moment today to share this powerful and beautiful speech with your tweens.
