Halloween is just about 2 weeks away and it’s fun to see kids, tweens and teens already getting into the Halloween spirit! I have to admit, Halloween is one of my faves! I love seeing people get into the Halloween “orange and black” spooky spirit throughout the month. My husband and I took a trip to Salem, MA a week ago with our daughter and they were REALLY into the Halloween festivities already! So much fun!

I’ve had some moms reach out to me asking if I had any suggestions or recommendations for some “easy and fun” makeup items for their beauty-loving tweens for Halloween.

Absolutely!!

I have 5 makeup items that I thought would be cool for girls to “play with” for some Halloween fun leading up to October 31st!

1. Orange and Black Nail Polish! Oh, yes… you can have some fun with nail colors. Since the traditional Halloween colors are orange and black, it’s great to have these colors on hand for your tweens. Essie has these colors readily available!

2. Fake Eyelashes! OK… these definitely need a mom’s help! It’s a FUN way to have some Halloween fun! Halloween is all about dressing up like someone you’re not, so the eyelashes — perfect for a little different. You can find inexpensive pairs of fake eyelashes at drug stores like CVS, Walgreens, Duane Reade or Rite-Aid.

3. Black Eyeliner for some WITCHY Cat Eyes! Again, this is going to require a mom’s help. If your tween is thinking of being a witch for Halloween this year, have a little creative-fun creating a fun cat eye for her!

4. Face Glitter! This is a total riot! So much fun! You can find tons of cheek glitter at Sephora! This is the cutest and most adorable way to create some Halloween magic with some makeup!

5. Eye Glitter! Oh, yes! Eye glitter, too! This is makeup, so it’s more of a gold-ish and silver-ish glow, but it will do the trick! Again, just a total fun way to create some different looks for the Halloween holiday! You can find these at drug stores and Sephora!
