I heard that you arent suposed to push back your cuticles because more infections can get in the skin. Is that true?
Great question Kyra! You’re right - Cuticles are a very important part of your finger & should NOT be removed by any means or else you can risk getting an infection! To be clear, when we mentioned “pushing the cuticles back” in our blog, we simply were suggesting to GENTLY do so after soaking your hands & when using a clean tool. We do not encourage biting, cutting, or harshly pushing them back! This is simply a step you can do to EVEN OUT your cuticles so that the nail polish will lay evenly on your nail! Don’t want to do it? No worries! Do what makes you feel comfortable! Hope this helps & thanks for asking!
