Feed Your Feathered Friends!
So it’s bird watching season, but you don’t have any way to attract birds around your house. No problem. Simply make a milk carton bird feeder & get ready for some great fun & free natural entertainment!

Materials:
(1) 1 quart empty cardboard milk carton, a pair of scissors
a hole punch, heavy-duty cord, a large package of bird seed
Instructions:
1. First, thoroughly rinse out the carton.
2. Next, grab an adult to help you cut a hole in the side of the carton. Make sure that the hole is large enough for a bird to sit & eat, but not too large that the feeder will be wobby when a bird lands on it.
3. Hole punch the top of the carton in two places - about an inch apart.
4. String the heavy cord through both holes & tie a knot at the end, making sure to leave enough room to be able to hang on a branch or hook.
5. Add bird seed to the bottom of the carton (up to the top of the large opening).
6. Choose a place close to a window to hang the bird feeder. Then have fun watching the birds!
