Beauty Tip of the Day: Fishtail Braids!
Ok, so we all know braids have been around since the ancient times, BUT did you know that the newest & most stylish version of the braid today is the FISHTAIL BRAID?! This sister braid of the original can be found on models, runways, in fashion magazines & photo shoots alike. Now you can bring it home, wear it to school or just hanging out with friends while being super fashionable & totally ahead of the curve. It’s cool for both moms & daughters & definitely easier to do than it looks - so learn how today! Hint: To make your braid look like messy/Boho-inspired with wispy flyaways, gently pull out the sides of the braid! Thanks to www.seventeen.com for the idea!
Step 1: Spray conditioning product (like hairspray) all over dry hair (for shine).
Step 2: Divide your hair into 2 equal sections near the back of the head!
Step 3: In each hand, hold one of the two sections of hair. Using your index finger on the right side, separate a skinny piece of hair from the outer edge of the right section. Pull it over the right section to add it to the left section of hair.
Step 4: Re-position your hands so you have 2 separate sections of hair as in Step 2.
Step 4: Using your index finger on the left side, separate a skinny piece of hair from the outer edge of the left section. Cross it over the top of the left section to add it to the right section of hair.
Step 5: Continue working with the 2 different sections of hair, alternating sides until you reach the end. Secure with a hair tie & you’re done! Easy right?
